About Us

My journey into federal accounting began, like most, in the United States Marine Corps. I enlisted as a rifleman, and after four years, I pursued an education in accounting in Washington, DC. I was drawn by the order it brings and ended up looking for government jobs. To my surprise, I became an auditor of federal financial statements at a Big Four firm. I would eventually leave the audit life and consult across the Federal Government.

Throughout my career, I've had a curiosity for innovation and information. I would seek new approaches and methods to make my work easier or at least more interesting. Yet, I noticed a significant gap in federal-specific training resources. Finding a course that offers the flexibility, depth, and engagement I sought is challenging. This realization inspired me to create Federal Finance CPE—a platform designed to provide the flexible, in-depth, and engaging education I always wished existed.
